These decorative pillows were made for a customer whose parents had recently passed. The mother's wedding gown from the 1960's was found in cleaning out the house. They brought me the gown which was yellowed in places from age. The drycleaner refused to touch it. Upon inspection, the satin was far better quality then what is available today so we cleaned it carefully. I was able to get three different 18 inch pillows made from the gown using the lace front and and satin from the gown and the train. Incidentally, the bride had a 22 inch waist--not a lot of excess fabric!
